Exciting NEW! stand-up comedy 1hr touring show ‘Spot the Difference’. With your support professional comedian Joy Carter can tour her hour show to at least 30 venues in the UK over 2016/17 including churches, theatres and festivals. Joy is working closely with leading adoption charity ‘The Cornerstone Partnership’ to produce a ‘call for action’ event after performances. These allow the public to continue their engagement by asking questions on adoption/fostering to a specialist panel from their area and sign up to become adoption or foster families if they desire. This is a pioneering society-changing project that needs long-term support from a once orphan now adopted comedian. As well as being a stand-up, I consider myself a pioneer for new forms of comedy that push the boundaries of cultural diversity. Over the past 4 years I have been developing a new comedy character that I have written a comedy sitcom for and I am taking to LA soon

Comedy Festivals and the UK Circuit

In 2015 I debuted the Edinburgh Festival with my first 1 hour show called 'Aspects of Joy' to great reviews and one sellout show. Then in have toured with my 1-hour show 'Spot the Difference' from 2016-2017, and I still perform at various festivals and the scene as a whole.

This website shows many varied clips of my comedy work, but if you require a recent 30 minute set to view please do get in touch, as I don't post my set on comedy forums etc for obvious reasons.
